Moving servers again
Update: Okay, I’m not quite ready to make the move yet. Let’s shoot for next Saturday, at around the same time…
750 Words has once again sort of outgrown its host. I’m moving it to Heroku this Saturday, and I need to take the site down for a couple hours. Most likely, sometime between 2pm and 5pm, if I can get my act together by then.
I will have a form up to make sure that nobody loses their streak or falls out of the competition on behalf of this outage. So you don’t have to worry about that.
Stay tuned for more details about all of this shortly. This will end up helping things quite a bit… and if you’ve noticed that the site has been going down around midnight because everyone’s trying to cram their words in before the clock ticks 12, then you’ll understand why this needs to happen. It’s gonna be awesome.
