Today is the day!

I’m moving 750words.com to a much bigger server today.  Here’s what you need to know.

  1. You should try to write your words before 1pm or after 5pm Pacific Standard Time.
  2. If you can’t write your words during those hours, for any reason, use this form to let me know that you need your streak repaired.  If you want, you can do your writing on another site, or on paper, to keep up the practice, but I won’t be able to import everyone’s words into the site afterwards.
  3. There’s a chance that the site will not be down for the full 4 hours, but there’s also a chance that the site will be down longer.  These moves always have more complications than they seem like they should.  I’m taking every precaution to make sure this happens smoothly… but you never know.
  4. My hosting costs are going up.  There’s never been a better opportunity to become a patron, if you like the site.
