Better support for iPhones, iPads, and other mobile devices

As weird as it may seem at first, I have gotten a ton of requests for improving the ability to use 750 Words from an iPhone, Blackberry, and now the iPad.  I got an iPad the other day and was sad to see that the login methods weren’t working on it very smoothly.  So, today I launched a way for you to log in with your email address and your “secret word or phrase” that you can optionally set from the Settings tab.

For now, if you want to be able to use 750 Words from your iPhone, iPad or other mobile device, you will need to set a secret word or phrase to be able to log in.  This is an extra security measure that will also log you out of the site if you are inactive for 10 or more minutes.

Once you do that, just visit http://750words.com from your mobile browser and you’ll automatically be taken to the new sign in screen.

In addition, I think I’ve fixed scrolling on the iPad so that it doesn’t act weird (you’ll know what I mean if you had checked it in the last few days).

Let me know what kind of feedback you have from using this.  I think it makes the site about 10x more usable from a mobile device, and am excited to see how people like it.  Perhaps I’ll need to start keeping track of how people are writing their entries.

Feedback welcome and encouraged!
