Some bug fixes and new badges!
I’m back! For reals!
I’m going to be working on this site in energetic bursts of energy between another project that is related to this one that I think everyone’s going to like. For more information about my other project, see my blog over on enjoymentland.com.
In the meantime, today I got a few big 750words.com requests completed.
1) I added 5 more badges! I’ll let you figure them out, but 2 of them haven’t been unlocked yet. I’ve got to keep those of you who are zooming past 100 days in a row motivated somehow, right?
2) I think I fixed that pesky bug that was causing the page to hang when you clicked off the page when you were done with your 750 words. It was an annoying bug for many, but I think I finally tracked it down and fixed it. Let me know if anyone else continues to have this problem.
3) I’ve removed the little yellow highlight around your word count when you get to 750, and am hoping that the green popup announcing that you’re done with your writing will be the new signal that you’re done… because that guarantees that your 750 words have actually been saved and your points have been calculated correctly.
It’s good to be back! I hope you all had a great month. I’m really enjoying adjusting to my new life with a son (here’s some picture overload if you’re interested) and am also very inspired with a few new ideas that started brewing during my time off.
