Log in via your email and secret word
I’ve been really slack in offering a way to merge accounts for those who wanted to move from Facebook to Google or Yahoo. There are just too many moving pieces to make sure that the merges happen smoothly and without losing any entries. So, instead, I’ve opened up the same method of login that is currently available for those on mobile devices.
If you’ve verified your email address and have a secret word or phrase set up to protect your account, you can now use those pieces of information to log in instead of having to go through Facebook or Google or Yahoo. This should work for everyone who has closed their Facebook account or who has otherwise wanted to switch things up.
